PinkPandaDeFi — Happy Pandaversary!
Week 4 update
It’s really hard to believe it’s been a month already, isn’t it? I wanted to take a moment to recap not only what we’ve accomplished the past week, but also address current market conditions and advise on how we’re adapting our approach.
Current market conditions:
When we conceptualized PinkPanda, we felt there was a very strong chance of if not a “Bear” market, at least a sideways market. when we launched on May 28th, here were some key crypto comparisons at the time of this writing:
BTC: May 28 $39,000 June 26 $32,800 Change: -15.9%
ETH: May 28 $2,700 June 26 $1,875 Change: -30.5%
BNB: May 28 $360 June 26 $285 Change: -20.8%
So while we didn’t want this to happen (who does?), we planned for this and were ready to pivot our strategy if it happened. How?
- Ensuring we have enough capital for ongoing operations and tightening the budget where necessary
- Accelerating our entity creation to allow for investor outreach
- Focusing on growing and leveraging our powerful community
- Focusing our marketing plan on the highest return for investment
- Building out our advisory and leadership team and filling key roles
Our token is design to buy and hold — it’s that simple. Crypto will eventually recover and grow again, it simply acts as a “multiplier” for PinkPanda growth by increasing operations funding. We’re not going anywhere, and we’re just getting started!

Weekly update:
This was a really busy week — a lot of behind the scenes action happening and a few other great milestones
- We were featured on Tyler Hill’s YouTube and tied for his #1 token with a score of 70! We’ll be doing a follow up interview with Tyler in the next couple of weeks to work out that we’re not going to be tied for #1!
- We’ve completed the core of our legal planning and started our entity creation. Formal statements to come as that proceeds.
- We’ve reached over 9,100 holders and 3,400 mobile apps!
- A Social Good Advisory Board has been formed, which will be chaired by Rose Yee. This board will advise PinkPandaDeFi on all issues related to our charitable and social ambitions. Here’s our statement below:

The Board solidifies Pink Panda’s commitment to harnessing the power of its community for good. It will help establish a roadmap for Pink Panda’s charity initiatives. The Board will serve in an advisory capacity and will engage, involve, and seek input from the Pink Panda community.

Rose Penelope Yee, Chair:
Rose leads Green Retirement, the first-ever advisory firm in the country focused on fossil-free, and socially and environmentally responsible 401k’s. The firm advises business and nonprofit retirement plans and has guided thousands of working people in saving for a financially secure retirement while also helping protect people and planet. A founding B Corp, the firm is firmly anchored on the principles of Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. In 2015, Rose was recognized by the National Association of Plan Advisors as one of the Captains of Industry in its inaugural recognition of the role that women play in the retirement plan industry. Rose co-founded WeTheChange, a collective of women leaders of certified B Corporations and other purpose-driven enterprises, For her efforts in helping B Corp B2B’s connect, build, and grow their businesses, Rose was honored with a B Economy Leadership Award in 2018. Rose holds a Civil Engineering degree from the University of San Agustin and a Masters in Business Management from the Asian Institute of Management in the Philippines. Rose is a Lifetime Member of the Social Venture Circle and also serves on the Board of the American Sustainable Business Council.
